New version of the Identity Cloaker Portable app for Windows has been released. Please update your current version as the old version 1.3.0 will stop working in the next few days.
The update will be automatically offered when the old version is launched, and it is also available in the member area.
Some of our Mac users reported issues with the Identity Cloaker application Today. If you experience connectivity issues, please contact our helpdesk ASAP.
We know about the problem and are working on it right now. I apologize for the complications.
UPDATE: We have been able to identify the issue and find a solution. New version of Identity Cloaker for OS X/Mac OS is now available in the member area, or you may contact our helpdesk.
UPDATE 2: It seems the same issue is also affecting Amazon Firesticks and Amazon tablets running on old Android/Fire OS versions. We are already working on a new version that will fix this issue on these devices. The issue has been fixed.
The CZ1 server is temporarily offline due to IP address and network reconfiguration, required by the datacenter. The server should be back online in less than a day, hopefully, though with a new set of IP addresses.
Apple made a major change in their latest iOS 14 update, affecting functionality of VPN server connections. We have changed configuration on some of our servers to work with the new iOS 14 update.
Our iPhone/iPad instructions will soon be updated with the list of iOS 14 compatible servers. In the meanwhile, these servers are already working with iOS 14:
ES2, UK15, UK16, UK17, CA5, US8, AU2
UPDATE: The below servers have been reconfigured to work with iOS14. They will also work on all other common platforms, including Android, Windows PC and Mac. More servers will be added soon.
AT1: Austria, Vienna
AU2: Australia, Sydney
AU3: Australia, Sydney
CA4: Canada, Toronto
CA5: Canada, Toronto
CZ1: Czech Republic, Prague
DE7: Germany, Frankfurt
ES2: Spain, Madrid
FR5: France, Paris
NL3: Netherlands, Amsterdam

UK15: United Kingdom, Maidenhead
UK16: United Kingdom, Newcastle
UK17: United Kingdom, Newcastle
UK18: United Kingdom, Newcastle
US8: USA, Dallas (Texas)
US9: USA, Los Angeles (California)
US11: USA, New York City (New York)
Unfortunately, the botched PHP update that caused problems with our payment gateway (not fixed), seems to have created other issues we have not noticed. Most notably, it seems our helpdesk is no longer being able to process new tickets, or ticket replies.
We are working on the issue. In the meanwhile, if you have any problem, please email me directly at admin@identitycloaker.com
I apologize for the problems this may have created for you.
UPDATE: The problem has been fixed, standard helpdesk operation has been restored. If you contacted our helpdesk between August 9 and August 13 and did not receive any reply, please contact us again, if possible. Really sorry for the recent issues.
There seems to be a problem with our credit card payment gateway functionality at the moment. We know about the issue and are working on it. PayPal payments are working normally, however.
We expect the issue to be solved in the next few hours. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you experience the issue, please contact our helpdesk, a temporary subscription will be added to your account, free of charge.
UPDATE: The situation has been resolved, payment gateway is working normally again.
Just a quick info – new server located in Spain, Madrid, is now available and is accessible via the Identity Cloaker application on all platforms, OpenVPN as well as L2TP over IPSec VPN.
The new server uses the “old” ES 2 name but is hosted in a different datacenter and from a different provider.
Just a quick info – the UK7 server is currently offline due to a hardware failure. We are waiting for update from the datacenter. In the meantime, please use one of our many other UK servers.
For the past several hours, the Portable version on Windows has not been working. We are investigating the issue and a fix should be available shortly.
I apologize for this complication. All other versions, including the Standard version on Windows and OS X/Mac OS versions are working normally.
UPDATE: The Portable version is working again, thanks everyone for their patience! The problem was caused by incorrect server software update.
